This weekend Gavin and I rode with my sister Julianne and her kids, up to the Huber Family reunion. It was great! I love visiting with all my cousins, first cousins once removed and second cousins that I grewup seeing a lot more than I do now. Gavin loved getting dirty and playing with the endless amount of other kids his age. Here are a few pictures of the weekend. Day 2 of Gavin's filthiness.
Gavin spent a lot of time playing in the dirt and climb rocks. Which was great, he loved it and everyone commented on how great he looked with all the dirt on his face.
I absolutely love this cabin. My Grandmother West's family, the Huber's own this cabin and I have been going to it every summer since I can remember. It has a lot of room for a family of any size to enjoy it and there is 15 acres around it to provide plenty of adventure for all the kids. Of course things are a little bit different now. With over 100 decedents of this family going to the reunions it is to crowded for everyone to stay in the cabin, so there is a lot more camping out around the cabin and staying the hotel a short distance away. Parents seem to be a little more concerned about where there children are and how far they have gone. When I was little, my cousins and I would be gone all day, being to busy with mock battles, building forts and tree climbing to bother with what the adults were up to. The kids of course still have a great time doing all these things, it just seems a little more subdued. Probably because I am not involved in these activities any more. Even with all the changes over the last 20 years it is a wonderful place to feel at peace and enjoy the company of so many cousins that I may only see one time a year.

It was fun, I am glad we went.
Hey jenny,
I have not seen you in a long time. Your family looks great! I also have many fond memories at that cabin. Although it was for scout camp it did not stop your Dad from bringing his girls. However, I am sure all the scouts did not mind that. I am glad you and your family are doing so well. Take care.
