Well Tuesday was Gavin's birthday and for the first time we had an actual party for him. We decided to have a party this year because we do not know if we will be living in Arizona next year. I was kind of determined not to have a party for him until he actually knew he was having a party, but it turned out that it did not matter if he knew it was his party. Because he had a lot of fun.
First we invited all the cousins, which adds up to about 25, but only 12 came, which was plenty. We started out at a jumping placed called Xtreme Play. It was really fun and nice. I really liked the layout of the place, because it was really open, so parents could see what was going on and there was a nice sitting area for parents with some comfy couches. It was also nice because each kid got a wristband, that would set off a buzzer if they got too close to the doors. Gavin loved this place. If you don't know Gavin, he is always happiest if he is doing something physical. Even though he was one of the littlest ones there, he had no fear of climbing up the biggest slide, which was about 15 feet high, and coming right down without hesitation. We were there for an hour and a half and Gavin still screamed and cried when it was time to go. Then we all came back to my parents house for presents, pizza, cake and ice cream. This was also a lot of fun. My dad had to give his special touch by purchasing noise makers and poppers. Gavin is enjoying all of his presents. He finally got a Mac truck from the Cars movie, which if he is at home he can not go one hour without playing with it. Thank you to everyone who made Gavin's birthday a special day.
