This week I went on a field trip with Gavin's class to one of the strawberry patches to learn about how strawberries are grown and to pick some.
They also had some farm animals that Gavin and Sidney loved looking at. There were some chickens just running around and while the kids were eating lunch one chicken really wanted Gavin's sandwich. There were 20 other kids there and for some reason the chicken just wanted Gavin's food, so one of his teachers stood by him and kept chasing the chicken off.
The kids also got to feed the horses and donkeys they had, I loved see that since both of them are usually afraid of animals that are bigger than them.
While picking strawberries I had a hard time helping Gavin pick and keeping Sidney from grabbing every strawberry in sight, including the green ones and eating them. I know it's a shocker.

i cannot believe how big sidney is. i am so excited to give that cute girl hugs alll the days long. miss you guys and can't wait to see you in a couple months!
