Gavin has a toy that he plays with almost everyday, it is a gross rubbery lizard. Well one of the things that Gavin loves most about this toy is that it can be stretched really far and according to Gavin it is really funny to let it go and watch it snap back. Unfortunately in the last two days this toy that stretches so wonderfully and snapped back at Gavin and hit him squarely in the face and has left a couple of nice welts on his cheek. Which you can not see in this picture, but they are there.
After this second whack in the face, Gavin took it personally and declared that the lizard was going in the garbage. I tried to get him the rethink this decision, but he was would not be dissuaded and stuck with his original verdict.
(don't worry I rescued the lizard and Gavin and he made up)
Gavin went on with his life and eventually, later that morning, came to build a wonderful collage of toys that he declared was a boat. I thought it was an awesome boat and a very original design.
