Well, it is over. Our first Christmas in our new home and all on our own. There are definite pros and cons. First is was great to wake up and have just our presents under the tree and to be able to start this wonderful morning with just our little family. But I have to admit when the presents were done that was it. Where as in Arizona the afternoon would have been spent at Grandparents homes with brothers and sisters and cousins. Gavin did spend the rest of the day playing with all his new toys and Paul spent the rest of the day writing a talk for Sunday. I was very excited for this first Christmas to ourselves. But I have to admit I did miss the rest of our family too.

Oh I am glad you enjoyed it. I agree there are pros and cons to not having family near by for special things..especially Christmas! I love keeping up with you guys through your blog!
