Well quite a few things have happened these last few weeks. First the Saturday before last, Paul, me and Gavin went out to the desert with my dad, brothers and nieces, to ride motorcyles and cook hotdogs.
Here is Paul and Gavin walking up on a ridge, exploring. This just before the whole adventure went to crap. Because right after this my two brothers, Jeran and Justin came flying down this ridge on their motorcycles. About half way down Jeran dropped his bike without turning it off and ran the rest of the way to us. He was holding his arm against his chest so we all thought he had broke his wrist or something that was not a big deal or emergency. But then Jeran started saying we needed to go right away because he had been bitten by a rattle snake, so that was serious.
It turned out to be a good thing that Paul and I were there, because we were able to get in our car with Jeran and get out of there a lot faster. We called 911 on the way to the highway and met an ambulance there, but not before Jeran barfed all over our car, awesome I know.
Jeran had to stay in the hospital for 6 days and has to get his blood checked every few weeks, but he seems to be ok. His finger were the snake bit him looks gross, because the doctors had to cut away a big chunk of his skin that had died from the venom.
But I can say I feel to bad for Jeran, since the reason he was bitten was that he had picked the snake up by the tail and thought he was fast enough to grab its head before it bit him. So you see it really is not that sad.

I've been wondering how things turned out with Jeran's snake bite, so thanks for posting something about it. He must not have heard that story one of the general authorities told about picking up snakes!! Love seeing pictures of your adorable son on here too!
