On Monday Gavin and I went to Sunsplash, which by the way is not as fun as it use to be when I was a kid. Gavin had a good time though, he did refuse to go down any slides, but the shallow water, lazy river and wave pool were fun for him. Of course that night he got diarrhea and is just now getting over it. Paul declares that we will not go back to Sunsplash, because obviously Gavin swallowed poop.

On Friday Gavin and I went with Paul's sister Teresa and her kids to Fountainhill were there is a great splash pad area.

Right by the splash pad is a lake with ducks, were we broke the rules. This is when the ducks were nice, soon they became aggressive and one duck even got in a tug of war with little Beck, over a piece of bread.

There also was a great play area nearby that was shaded. I love that some communities have started covering their parks. It makes it bearable to go to the park in the summer.

OK first of all nothing is as fun as it is when you are a kid and second if Gavin swallowed poop he'd have salomanilla thats a lot worse than the runs, furthermore he probably just swallowed a lot of chlorine. All kids do that, dont they?
How fun..I still enjoy sunsplash..well any water park for that matter. I just don't find it as fun when you have to take the kids with you! hahaha! We have a splash pad here and they sure are great. Although we don't even get remotely hot enough to use one. A hot day here is 85 - 90 degrees! I laugh every time someone says that! Enjoy the heat for us!
