STOKER FAMILY

I have just spent the last 15 minutes reading my sister Julianne's blog. Julianne has 4 kids and therefore she has a few more funny and interesting stories to tell on her blog. I love reading her blog because no matter what happens with her kids, Julianne always tries to relate gospel principals to them.
A long time ago in another life time, Julianne and I were in elementary school together and we were really good friends. Then came junior high and high school, where we were not friends at all. I felt a bit over shadowed by her. She was the best at sports, school and anything church related. So instead of being MY best, I chose to rebel and try to not be like her at all. We have very different personalities and always have. Where Julianne always tries to be mindful of others and their feelings. That thought rarely would occur to me, I would always let people know what I thought about them.
Well trying to not be like Julianne never made me happy. Now I find myself wishing more and more that I was like her. Julianne is a good person and the Lord has blessed her because of that. Now when I think of Julianne I think of my best friend and how I can tell her anything and know that she cares for me.
