This last week and weekend have been a lot of fun. With the Christmas cleanup and preparations for the new year.

Paul and Gavin taking the tree down. Gavin was a little bit sad and said he would miss Christmas as he was putting away the decorations.

After a few minutes Gavin pooped out and sat down to watch a show.

Sidney sat in the corner and wrapped herself up in bubble wrap.

Then New Year Eve was a good time also. We had our friends over for an early evening get together, because we all have small kids that make it hard to stay up till midnight. These are my friends Erin and Heather, us moms are standing off to the side while the boys lite the firecrackers.

The firecrackers were definitely the highlight of the evening for the small boys and the big boys.

Here is Gavin with his good friends Nicholas and Zander. When these three get together, it is nonstop fun.

After firecrackers we ate a lot of junk food. It was Sidney's favorite part.

It may surprise you,but donuts are a part of Gavin's diet.

Now that Christmas holidays are over, Gavin has started talking about his birthday. One of the things he asked for was a stick horse. It was really funny listening to him describe it before he new what it was called. He said to me, "Mom, I want a horse with a stick on it." He would also use his hands to draw a picture of it in the air. We would have waited to give one to him on his birthday, but we were at Goodwill on Saturday and he found one there, we figured it was meant to be and he has been riding it around since.
Happy New Year to everyone out there and I hope you are able to meet all your goals for the year. I choose not to make any goals, that way I always exceed my own expectations.
